THCA Diamonds
THC-A Diamonds Explained
THCA Diamonds are a cannabis concentrate made up of crystalline THCA, the acidic precursor to THC. They are called “diamonds” because the THCA forms solid, crystal-like structures during processing. Some products contain mostly isolated crystals, while others are combined with a terpene-rich concentrate often called sauce. Compared with Live Resin and Shatter, THCA Diamonds are mainly distinguished by their crystalline structure, high cannabinoid concentration, and concentrate composition.

What Are THCA Diamonds Made Of?
THCA Diamonds consist primarily of crystalline THCA, a cannabinoid naturally present in cannabis in its acidic form. Depending on the individual product, the crystals may appear on their own or alongside a terpene-rich concentrate commonly referred to as sauce.
Why Do THCA Diamonds Form Crystals?
THCA can separate from other components of a concentrate and develop an ordered, solid crystalline structure. This crystal-like appearance is what gives the concentrate its diamond name. Crystal size, appearance, texture, and overall composition can vary between products and batches.
THCA Diamonds vs Live Resin, Shatter & Sauce
THCA Diamonds are primarily identified by their crystalline structure. Live Resin generally has a softer consistency, while Shatter is typically recognised by its firm, glass-like structure. Sauce refers to terpene-rich concentrate that can sometimes accompany THCA crystals.
